A patient came to the clinic. A year and a half ago, she had veneers placed on 10 upper and 10 lower teeth in Venezuela. However, unexpectedly her front tooth broke. Examination and review of the scans showed that it could not be repaired and saved – the root was broken. It was necessary to remove it.

Also during the diagnosis it was found that:

  • There was an almost rotted incisor next to a broken tooth
  • The veneers were not installed properly, which caused decay of the teeth
  • The patient had a closed bite that needed to be corrected to restore and maintain the occlusion.

After discussing and agreeing on a treatment plan with the patient, Dr. Svetlana:

  • Aligned the gingival contour
  • Restored all the old fillings
  • Covered her chewing teeth with ¾ ceramic crowns – for more naturalness and durability
  • Covered her front teeth with ceramic veneers – with minimal preparation to preserve the tooth enamel.

As a result, the patient got rid of her occlusion problems and got a natural and beautiful smile, which will give her confidence and last at least 15 years.
